| Russian Wins 7th Paragliding Championship
Russian citizen Dmitri Oli has won the 7TH International Paragliding Championship held in Pokhara on Monday. British national Adam Hill came second ahead of Rajesh Bamjan of Nepal. Sixty-three competitors from 17 countries took part in the competition organised by the Trekking Agents Association of Nepal Regional Chapter of Pokhara.
Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yankila Sherpa gave away prizes to the winners amid a function today.
The participants of the five-day long competition in professional, medium and beginners categories took off from Sarangkot Hill and landed at Phewa Lake?s gorge. |
